If you want to win at online video poker, the good news is, you actually can. With online video poker a lot more than just luck is involved; there is a lot of skill that is needed too. Being careful in online video poker means that you will keep your bet low until you win twice the amount you wagered originally. After that the next thing you want to do is make your following three bets high and any time that you win on one of these higher 3 bets should be the time you try a further high bet. Once you have got your three wins, go to the lowest possible wager and try to aim for a flush draw. (Note: when you are holding 4 cards in the same suit, you have a pretty good chance of getting the flush draw).
There are other winning combinations you can go for as well in online video poker, depending on what you have. The outside straight is pretty good (although not as exciting as the royal flush). You should only aim for an inside straight if you are pretty much out of options in online video poker since the returns will not be all that much to write home about. But if you have been really unlucky with what the dealer has dealt you, then try to keep 3 cards of the same suit. You might ultimately decide to sacrifice for a royal flush if you have any of the following from the beginning of play: made flush; made pair; made straight, but don’t break it up for a non royal straight flush but if it looks like you are only one card away from a royal flush, then it is worth sacrificing the minor win.
Now, if you are in the mood for an extra online video poker challenge, then you might want to do something a bit different and play multi-hand online video poker. Multi-hand online video poker is basically online video poker, but multiplied by 100!!! So you can imagine what fun that can be! If you win this game, it really is a total thrill! The principle of the game is the same as that of online video poker, apart from the fact that you can play as many as 100 hands at once so you will choose 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100. After you have chosen how many hands to play, you place a wager and are then presented with 5 cards, which each hand will have. As in the standard online video poker, you then get to choose the cards you want to keep and those you want to discard. With that choice, your chosen cards are duplicated to each remaining hand that you are playing.
As soon as you want more cards, click the button on the casino and for each hand you play you will get a new random set of replacement card. Your winners will be highlighted, the amount returned will be displayed and thus the total accumulated credits. The odds in this game are pretty much the same as for regular online video poker and while playing each time multiple times enhances the strengths or weakness, the overall odds are the same.
