The same rules apply in Omaha high as in hold’em. You will also have three face-up community cards called the flop, the turn card, as well as the river card. This will be for the first two rounds. For the remaining rounds the players must bet and raise by double the amount of the big blind. The amounts of the blinds will also increase as the game is played.
The best hands for this type of poker are any Aces, suited pairs, two pairs (one high), and the four card connectors (King, Queen, Jack, and ten). Omaha high differs from hold’em in the fact that the round can be determined by your starting cards before the flop. The good starting hands are more likely to win, not like hold’em where you can still get lucky if the flop gives you good cards.
